Ukraine Grain Prices Show Wide Domestic-to-Port Spreads on October 16

Ukraine’s grain market remained under pressure from strong new-crop availability on October 16, 2026, with substantial differences between domestic and export-oriented delivery bases. Corn was quoted at UAH 7,700/t CPT terminal, compared with approximately UAH 5,750/t EXW and UAH 7,000/t FCA, the latter up UAH 1,035/t. DAF corn was indicated at about $190/t. Abundant supply continues to limit a sustained recovery in domestic values.

Milling wheat retained stronger port pricing. Grade 2 wheat was valued at UAH 8,902/t CPT terminal versus UAH 6,110/t EXW, while Grade 3 stood at UAH 8,513/t CPT and UAH 5,500/t EXW. FCA Grade 3 wheat fell UAH 750/t to UAH 5,700/t. The wide spreads underline the importance of transport costs, storage availability and access to export channels for central Ukrainian suppliers.

Sunflower seed EXW prices edged up UAH 33/t to UAH 16,763/t, while high-oleic seed commanded UAH 18,250/t EXW. Soybeans were quoted at UAH 16,850/t EXW, down UAH 508/t on FCA terms, and barley at UAH 7,033/t CPT terminal.
